Have a fun time Jock, Glenn is very envious, he is missing his airplanes, but far too much to get through here before he go can play. Have got a couple of boxes here for you courtesy of dad, will hand them over at Stanford hall in a few weeks
It rained hard here in the night, but blue-ish skies and a misty haze over the field behind the house, and, no rain now
Mavis, hope you are somewhere your dongle will work, ours seems to work in all but the most remote places.
Good luck with your motorhome search Sue, it took us a few months to find our current van, but we have had her for the past 3 years and not seen anything we would swap her for.
Hope the latest leg of your tour has started well Frank, hoping to see you if you pass this way.
Enjoy your Friday Russell, glad to hear Jenny is keeping her cool in this heat, our "boys" had a lovely swim in the sea at Brancaster to cool off last night, they loved it.
Off to get painting again before it gets too hot
Enjoy whatever you are doing
Tina

A muggy +20 out there but some glorious rain overnight - hard too judge just how much as the usual clues ( e,g standing water on patio slabs) has all dried up - but all the upstairs windows are open and there's a lovely cooling air passing through the house.
JocK Oh I do do do envy you - do you want to borrow my air-band scanner ( I'm a very geeky aviation person ). Don't forget to stand to attention and salute as the Dead Sparrows fly over your van.
Sue: Good hunting - I meant to start a thread on the forum about the sudden appearance on day time televison 2 days ago ( about 1230 ) of an ad for a Motorhome dealer ( one in Sunderland/Newcastle area ) - I've never seen that on national televison before - a motorhome ad !!
Viv: You should have snapped up a Squeezy Jet ticket and gone to Budapest for the weekend as well.
Russell: Enjoy your weekend
Mavis: Happy Dongling
Have a great weekend
Harry

Well that's me back - 1hr 10mins to get there and 2 hrs 15 mins to come back. The joys of the M25!
Sarah's quite nervous as she's new to the team so she doesn't know the others very well. She will by the time they come home.

Bad timing. We have our Open competition from Monday - Wednesday and I'm the only one who knows the scoring package. We had the draw for skate order last night so I have to enter all of that, assign officials, deal with late withrawals and do lots of printing for the judges before 5.30am Monday. I can't even take full advantage of the peace and quiet.
But first of all back to bed. 3 hours is definitely not enough sleep.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm, not managed to get much sleep in the last few days, mainly in part to pain of which the threshold seems to be increasing daily.
But still pottering on, had some friends down today and went out for lunch at the Grosvenor public house, had a lovely strawberry tart afterwards through before retiring home for a nice hot drink.
Ordered new *Free Cloud Wi-Fi** HP 550 Laptop, Intel Core 2 Duo T5670 1.8GHz, 4GB 250GB 15.4" BrightView TFT as mine was going down and becoming a burden to use, ordered yesterday afternoon by telephone from ebuyer, came today at 0845, how's that for service. Now all I have to do is try and get my old programmes (XP ones I might add) installation cd's etc on to the new one.
Won a shop rider power wheelchair on ebay last week, but vendor has failed to come forth with the goods yet and I am getting a little concerned as the money has already been taken from my bank account.
Got a rise and reclining chair off ebay last week, brand new in box, the chap even delivered it locally for me, but the thingis clonking and after delving into the bowes today with a friends asistance I had noted it has three motor and there waw a separate ram for each section, one of the main ramps has some play on the actuation pin, so a job for Mr Fixit, I was going to complain but if can get it working it will sae us more expense and worry.
On my second course of chemo now and it is taking it out of me, going to try and get some more shut eye and throw up some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's soon, so sleep tight people
Another day tomorrow, hope everybody manages to get out and about this weekend to enjoy the rest of the British summer.
s'funny, we all have our little problems, but eventually manage to get through most of them, even been talking with a neighbouring gardening man in respect of cutting our 12 feet high perimter hedge down to make it more manageable, but I would miss the security until it was once moer replenished with something of value.
Sorry to hear about your pain Peter, I hope you manage to get it under control.
Have you tried ringing the wheelchair seller? It might be worth trying to chivvy him along.
Sarah says her hotel (4 star) is lovely - she's always wanted to go to a "posh" hotel but I'm too tight to take her. I've had lots of texts and two phone calls - all free courtesy of Vodafone passport - but she's obviously got to know the others a bit better as I've heard nothing since late afternoon. Either that or she's lost her phone. (Not really, the chaperones would let me know).
Well, off to the rink for a meeting about the open. No rest for the wicked.
Good morning Peter, Viv and others too, from the Lincs Centre CC Rally, on the Waddington Village Sports Field.
It's not quite up to "bowling green" standards, but it's not far off it.
The Lincs DA of the C&CC are about a mile away, nearer the end of the runway.
We are all geared up for the start of the RAF Waddington Air Show at 10.30
Rita and I arrived yesterday, pitched up, handbrake on, and off to catch the bus into Lincoln, as there is no way I am going anywhere today other than under our awning whilst watching the display over a beer or two.
The weather here is beautiful, and Waddington's own Met Office have predicted excellent weather for the aerial displays, for today at least.
There must be in the region of 200 - 300 outfits on the rally field. It is very popular.

Thanks Harry. I'm not quite that geeky but I'll be tuned into "Airshow" on 103.9 FM.
BTW, as an RAF Fireman, I had the pleasure of getting close up to the "Dead Sparrows" every March at RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus, where they would come out for six weeks, to practice three times a day with the new season's team members. I am extremely proud of them.

Tell Glenn that I shall do a wee salute on his behalf. Please thank your dad, and I'll reciprocate in beer coupons, when I see him at Stanford Hall.
Peter, I am sorry to hear that your suffering of pain increases daily. My heart goes out to you pal.
I haven't forgotten about the hedge by the way, so don't worry. However, the school holidays would be a much more suitable time for me, as the coach work tends to be very slack at that time. Your gardener neighbour is right about the security aspect. We retained our conifer hedge at 9ft as Rita really likes the privacy aspect, as I do the security.
Have a good day folks.
Jock.

Well, the forecast of cooler weater with cloud is wrong, it is warm and sunny already. Going food shopping in a bit and also trying for the Tesco wine fiddle - will report back.
Peter - as you say, keep pottering on.
Sue - maybe time goes fast as we are enjoying our work?????
and also trying for the Tesco wine fiddle - will report back.
Morning Russell,
Is that the 25% off if you by so many bottles? I remember seeing something about it in yesterday's paper. It'll depend on the initial mark up on each bottle, whether there is a saving to be made.
Jock.
P.S. Don't forget to take your "Womble" bag full of ally tins, in exchange for points.
Jock.

Thanks Viv, pain is getting worse, I have to have an assessment next week again, then an oxygen treatment assessment the week after.
Hmmmm, no contact details of vendor of chair on ebay other then to email him again.
Jock, pleased you are out there still enjoying yourself, no rush with the hedge, y'no the saying, "when its done its done!!"
I am pottering on Russell hope Jenny is not getting too hot.
I finally managed to talk Chris into getting a mobile phone got a good deal from Carhone Wharehouse, Samsung J700i for £29.99 + £10 pay as you go with T-mobile, but the phone was not locked so am going to transfer to Asda mobile when credit runs out, Asda is only 8p a minute any network and 4p for texts.
Kids coming today, to see us, apart from that a day of rest methinks as I am still tired, pleased I got the new lap top so soon, but now I have got to build up the motivation and strength to transfer all my programmes and files across, still I have got plenty of time at the moment, its just the enthusiaasm I need!!
It's 01.30 here in Spain and I can't sleep........neither can the bloody dogs[all eleven of them].......because it is still so hot.......and they can't settle.
All this week I have slept outside on the terrace and it has been great, moon, stars........moziz and early morning flies.....
But tonight I boobed.........remembered the huge pallet of dark cherries in the outside fridge........eat most plus two cans of 7up, now feel well sick.
tried to cool-off in the pool, but it feels like a warm bath. Pump some well water in tomorrow [Today!], that will bring the temp down more than a few deg's.
Now wondering how daughter Becky is doing.......She did her first 3 hour broadcast on Heart FM [Spain] this afternoon and then went off to do a nightclub gig [some may remember from posts some time ago that she is a pro-singer]........She will throw a wobbly if I am seen hanging around outside the club waiting for her....... I should be used to her back-too-front lifestyle by now......but...
So, it's back on this thing.......answering a few of the MHFacts Moroccan tour enquiries, check the itinerary [yet again!!] and give the dam dogs a kicking [joke]......like that would help.........
Now a ####### owl has kicked off........can't stop listening to the repetitive hoots........where's me Ipod.......
Right, it's now 02.00......phone Becky and get shouted at......
