I've been looking at a 1993 Mercedes 308d van for sale. Although in general good shape the body mountings underneath are badly corroded. Does anyone know if new mountings can be purchased? Also would other body parts be available?

Anything can be fabricated and welded, But a poor choice of van for conversion as it's only 80 hp, the next model, the Sprinter 310/312 would be better, but still not good as they are prone to rust more than other makes, The Fiat Ducato is the most popular van for conversion, and tends to be cheaper for older models.
